Wilhelm Walch is one of Alto Adige’s most venerable wine estates and produces a wide array of local and international varietal wines, with special attention to the classic Alto Adige grape varieties. Founded in 1869 in the charming wine-producing village of Tramin, the winery has its home in what was formerly a Jesuit monastery, with historic underground cellars and carved wine casks. A new innovative fermentation cellar now allows us to work the grapes gently using only gravity and features the most modern cellar techniques for the highest of standards.
