The organizational structure of the Chamber of commerce is divided into departments and offices, which are coordinated by the General Secretary. Workers and functions are assigned to each organizational unit. In the area there are five branches. The Chamber of Commerce also has a special agency: the Institute for economic development and promotion. In collaboration with its special agency, the Chamber of commerce performs all those tasks which, by their nature, require a private-law management.

In collaboration with its special agency, the Chamber of commerce performs all those tasks which, by their nature, require a private-law management. The special agency has full administrative autonomy; therefore, it is able to guarantee the needed level of flexibility and speed for the realization of scheduled initiatives. The special agency is called “Institute for economic development and promotion” and it pursues the objectives fixed by the Chamber of commerce, according to the respective guidelines. The institute has statutory and administrative autonomy and it performs its activities according to private-law regulations.
